Coffee Mornings

Thursday coffee mornings take place in the St Nicholas Room from 9.00 am to 11:30 am and are open to all.

They are a steady source of income for the Church, Church Halls, many other Church Groups and charities.

They are a major part of Church outreach with a clientele of regular customers drawn from the surrounding villages, holiday makers and the congregation.

Good coffee, scones/biscuits and an opportunity to meet people in a friendly atmosphere.

St Nicholas, North Walsham has pledged to support the principles of Fair Trade by using only Fairtrade-badged items wherever possible.

A few figures compiled from the two mornings a month, where funds are raised for the Church Fabric and the Church Halls, during 2011:

2,500 cups of coffee, tea and hot chocolate served

1,624 scones were sold

48 sponge cakes were sold

460 hours worked voluntarily by eight people each of the weeks

£3,000 raised
